NDT INSTRUCTORS / LEVEL III
HELLIER TECHNICAL TRAINING AND CONSULTING is searching for several unique individuals who are self-directed, customer service driven professionals, and have the interest in combining their nondestructive testing / consulting experience to join the HELLIER team.
These positions require extensive classroom contact including the development, revision and teaching a range of technical and non-technical topics.
The ideal candidates should be certified NDT Level III's in several methods and should have hands-on experience as a Level II. The candidates will be teaching classes in three or more of the following methods -Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Radiography and Visual Testing. Ability to teach advanced methods such as UT Detection and Sizing, Phased Array, Digital/Computed RT, etc. will be very beneficial.
The candidates should be familiar with NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A requirements as well as other industry codes and inspection specifications. Responsibilities may also include consulting with clients in the development of NDT procedures and Written Practices, development and administration of examinations to be used for certification, grading and reporting of results, and overall classroom management. There will be some travel with this position.
The candidate must be proficient with computer applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
Experience in the development of classroom curriculum and outlines, and experience as an instructor is a plus.
A minimum of an Associate Degree in a technical science or equivalent is strongly desired. The candidate must be willing to relocate to the Connecticut or Texas.

NDT CONSULTANTS / LEVEL III
HELLIER has several openings for NDT Level III certified professionals experienced in the areas of consulting, oversight, review of radiographs, training, auditing and other related activities for selected contract assignments, both short and long term.
The candidates must be able to provide NDT consulting and training services. Specific experience in the Ultrasonic Testing of composites and other aerospace related materials will be very beneficial. NDT experience with welds, castings and other product forms used in the construction of submarines and surface ships with current or past certifications in accordance with NAVSEA 250-1500 will be a plus. Domestic and some international travel is a possibility.
The candidate should be familiar with various types of military and commercial codes and specifications. Responsibilities will also include consulting with clients in the development of NDT procedures / techniques, and the development and administration of examinations to be used for certification.
