NDT Training Course Standards
HELLIER courses have been developed to increase the participant's knowledge of the NDT method. Each course covers the body of knowledge as well as meets the requirements of ANSI/ASNT CP-189, NAS 410, and the recommendations of SNT-TC-1A.
Courses are presented by instructors who possess Level III Certifications. Course length has been established by the specified documents. The class content includes a balance of theory and practical hands-on sessions. Overheads, slides and/or PowerPoint are used to present course material.
Each student receives their own course manual. Quizzes are given throughout the course, as well as a course completion examination, to insure that the student has achieved the training objectives. A course completion certificate is issued to the attendee upon successful completion of the course.
Participants enrolled in NDT courses should have at least a high school education or equivalent. Participants enrolled in Level II courses should have successfully completed Level I training.
