Course Description:

This course is designed to supplement the existing Ultrasonic Level I & II training courses and provides special emphasis on the code requirements specified in AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, ASME V and API 1104. This course includes intensive laboratory sessions on the calibration, scanning, interpretation and evaluation techniques specified in the above codes. Students will inspect a variety of weld samples containing an array of discontinuities using both straight and angle beam techniques.

Prerequisites & Comments:

This course supplements the Ultrasonic Levels I and II Courses. Class size is limited for maximum utilization of instructor and equipment. Presentation of the course on-site is quoted separately.
